You can choose between 9 pre-set programs. Besides conventional (P1), burst (P2) and modulated pulse duration stimulation (P3), CEFAR® Primo offers mixed frequency stimulation, 2Hz/15Hz (P4) and 2Hz/80Hz (P5). With mixed frequency stimulation activation of both coarse and muscle based nerve fibres is possible, offering the patient potentially a more effective treatment. With mixed frequency stimulation one amplitude for each respective frequency is set to make the treatment comfortable. Programme 6 (10Hz) is a programme optimised for treating nausea. Programme 8 and 9 have a pre-set timer.
