The LIFESTYLE Corrective Heel Wedge is bi-directional and can be used in either a varus (medial) or valgus (lateral) orientation. Used as a medial wedge, the Corrective Heel Wedge helps reduce pronation and limit heel and arch pain. It will also prevent foot flattening, decrease excessive motion of the sub tabular and midtarsal joints and is helpful in the reduction of tendonitis associated with medical instability. Designed for chronic ankle sprainers and peroneal tendonitis sufferers, lateral wedges decrease lateral instability by canting the heel towards the inside.
